Invincible, the US builder of saltwater sportfishing and high-performance boats, has unveiled its fifth catamaran model and tenth model overall – the 33’ Catamaran. Hull No 1 is expected to be completed by the spring of 2021.
“This latest addition to our range of Catamarans fills an important role, offering Invincible performance and quality to a wider group of customers,” says Ian Birdsall, VP of international business. “It is a boat totally in keeping with the times, seriously efficient and seriously capable.”
The new 10m (33ft) cat has a 3.12m (10ft) beam and can reach speeds of up to 900hp. “With the launch of our new 33’ Catamaran, we officially have the largest model offering in this segment,” says CEO John Dorton. ”No matter how or where you fish, we have a model for you. With the size making it easy to trailer and the lower cost of entry, this was purpose-built for customers interested in big-cat performance to align with their size needs.”
Like Invicible’s other catamaran models, the 33’ Catamaran’s patented hybrid semi-asymmetrical multihull design was created by Morrelli & Melvin exclusively for Invincible.
“A dedicated twin-outboard platform is something we’ve been excited to work on with Invincible for a while now,” Pete Melvin of Morrelli & Melvin said. “The versatility of the smaller platform with more storage space than your traditional monohull should prove to be popular for the customer looking to make the jump to a cat.”
Invincible is now adding to its international dealer network, looking to partner with established dealerships that are experienced in the sport fishing and high-performance offshore boat market.
